“Reconquest” is a militant, engaging, and informative Catholic radio program featuring interviews with interesting guests as well as commentary by your host. It is a radio-journalistic extension of the Crusade of Saint Benedict Center.
Each weekly, one-hour episode of Reconquest will debut RIGHT HERE on Wednesday night at 8:00 PM Eastern (7:00 PM Central). It will then be rebroadcast according to the Crusade Channel programming schedule (note:all times listed are Central time).
Thanks, Brother. Another really good episode.
Started off a little slow at the offset but once Charles warmed up things really picked up. Just wish the shows could be longer to allow enough time to properly cover the topics.
My wife and I look forward to sitting down and listening together each week. …Keep ’em coming!
P.S. I was hoping the interview would cover the modern protestant objection to monarchy as something which is condemned in the old testament book of Samuel. I just came across these articles which might be of interest to other listeners who were maybe wondering about the same thing….

Thank you, Josue! God bless and Mary keep you.
I find that objection funny. The alternative to monarchy as the other nations around Israel had it was Israel’s unique THEOCRACY, where God ruled them through the judges. Modern democracy and republicanism are hardly anything like form of government that Israel had before monarchy.
It wasn’t that God was offended at the idea of a king so much as He was offended by His people wanting another ruler besides Himself: “For they have not rejected thee [Samuel], but me, that I should not reign over them” (1 Kings [1 Samuel] 8:7).
One wonders how much thinking goes into forming this objection to monarchy based on the Bible. Not much, it would seem.
Thank you for the links. They are very informative.
Excellent show! Loved every minute! I would definitely be interested in seeing you have Mr. Coulombe on again sometime! God bless, brother.
Thank you! Barring some unforeseen disaster, you can count on many future episodes with Charles Coulombe.
All of you want monarchy but you have no idea of how it works or what it is supposed to do; you just think it would be nice. None of you, including Coulombe, know jack about it nor are you willing to learn.
