Father Leonard Feeney and Dr. Fakhri Maluf (later, Brother Francis, M.I.C.M.), ca. 1948. They are standing on either side of the cherished statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague at St. Benedict Center in Cambridge, Mass. This statue was presented to the Center in February of 1948, having been blessed by His Grace, the Archbishop of Prague, Josef Beran. The statue arrived on February 22, the day the very day the Communists took over Czechoslovakia. (Image is digitally upscaled and enhanced.)
